The "O" in version.O stands for Organic, as you might have guessed. But it's not only the ingredients to which we are referring. It's the overall product. We believe in "organicism" which can be described as "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts". Our formulas create something that can't be explained by any individual ingredient. It's a synergy that produces a well-rounded scent blend, a unique texture, and powerful results.

Let nature do what it does best – support you in realizing your full potential. Humans have a natural affinity for certain plants and minerals; evolution has seen to that. And every part of a plant or section of earth has different components with different functions. Understanding how these components work with the human body is the job of science. But taken too far, science misses the target. Whole ingredients that come from the earth are easier for your body to decode and assimilate than their synthetic counterparts made in a lab. That’s why whole, natural, organic and wildcrafted ingredients are so important. Your body knows a counterfeit when it meets one, so why not give it the real deal?

version.O calls upon plants, minerals, medicines, scents and sciences from around the world that utilize the earth's gifts to create our formulas: with minerals and gemstones, roots and leaves, essential oils and extracts – from earth to buds to blossoms.

There are no unnecessary ingredients. Each product is made with the smallest number of ingredients to produce the optimal results. And we only use ingredients that will make a big impact on your skin without being rough. version.O will always treat you sweet and gentle.

Performance is our first priority – if it doesn’t work extremely well we aren't interested in making it. So we make sure that each ingredient is included in the amount that is most effective. And we pack in the maximum number of active ingredients that work well together.  We also deliver what is says on the package. For example, PERFECTOR is so named because it starts to perfect the look and feel of your skin from the moment you put it on. REFINER polishes your skin to a smooth softness.  And PROTECTOR defends your skin from harsh environmental toxins and stressors. You will start to notice results immediately, but more importantly, each product produces better results the longer you use it. 

Every ingredient is chosen and sourced from the best and purest plant, mineral (and bee) ingredients available. version.O avoids allergens (like nuts), petroleum (such as parabens) and detergents (as in SLSs), just to name a few. Organic ingredients are always used unless a wild harvested ingredient is found to be more potent. And occasionally an ingredient cannot be certified organic but comes from an organic source, like vitamin E. 

Many people of all genders prefer minimalist design and sustainable packaging that doesn't look like your dermatologist prescribed it to you. We don't know about you, but we're sick and tired of white jars and flowers. version.O offers something different, ambiguous, sexy. Recyclable sandblasted and embossed silver tins, and violet glass bottles with matte black labels and chrome text. And all outer package is re-usable, as in, no throwaway packaging.

In a world that's already staked its claim on your time, a minimalist skin care regimen is essential. Multi-tasking products that are quick and easy to use are what we’re about. But don't think version.O will sacrifice longterm results or pleasure for these more immediate requirements. We want you to enjoy every second of it and look great doing so.

We create each product on demand in small batches so that we can get it to you fresh, with less preservatives. Handmade in a little studio in Denver, Colorado.

Sustainability should be so commonplace that it would be redundant to mention — but it's not. So let us tell you how the flowers for our helichrysum essential oil are hand-picked from the mountains of Corsica, and how the wood for our Palo Santo oil must lay on the ground undisturbed for two years before it can be harvested. Violet glass bottles recyclable for eternity help retain the potency and freshness of each ingredient. And last but definitely not least, version.O keeps in mind the longterm health of your skin with continued use of our products.
